Micro-Precision Technologies Announces Acquisition of Stellar Manufacturing to Expand Advanced Microelectronics Capabilities

Micro-Precision Technologies, Inc.  a leader in complex micro-electronics, is thrilled to announce its acquisition of Stellar Manufacturing (“Stellar”), a provider of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). MPT partnered with private equity investment firm, Great River Capital Partners in mid-2024, with add-on acquisitions considered as one path to drive continued growth for the company. The acquisition of Stellar closed in early October. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

By combining Stellar’s long-standing expertise in the PCBA market with MPT’s advanced Hybrids/multichip modules (MCM) and Thick Film capabilities, we can provide customers with a wider range of solutions at multiple performance levels and price points,” said Martin Stensgaard, CEO of MPT.

Stellar Manufacturing will continue to provide its products and interface with customers from its Salem, NH headquarters operation. In the first half of 2026, the company will be fully integrated into MPT’s AS9100D quality system and become compliant with ITAR and CMMC standards.
