Power Integrations Appoints New Head of Global Sales
Industry veteran Michael Balow to drive growth across key semiconductor markets
Power Integrations (Nasdaq: POWI), the leader in high-voltage integrated circuits for energy-efficient power conversion, announced the appointment of Michael Balow as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, effective immediately. He joins the company’s executive management team with responsibility for leading the company's global sales organisation, channel strategy and growth initiatives.
Mr Balow brings more than three decades of semiconductor sales and business development experience, most recently serving as executive vice president of sales at onsemi, leading a large global sales organisation across the automotive, industrial, sensing and power solutions markets. Previously, he served as executive vice president of sales at Infineon Technologies after holding a similar position at Cypress Semiconductor, which was acquired by Infineon in 2020. His prior industry experience includes roles at Freescale Semiconductor and Integrated Device Technology (IDT). Mr Balow holds a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
